Nylon Nights Brought The Heat To Miami Swim Week

Miami Swim Week does it differently than New York or Paris. Wearing less is more, and making a statement is best done waterfront. On Friday, NYLON and presenting sponsor COVERGIRL teamed up to host a party that carried through the energy of the week. After a day of show-seeing and event-going, influencers and friends of the brand descended on Miami hotspot Casa Neos Beach Club for a night of fun and incredible dockside views — with exclusive access that allowed guests to party riverside while DJ Charly Jordan was on the decks spinning tunes that ignited the dance floor.

To celebrate a week of swim and resort wear that was all things tropical and on-trend, COVERGIRL brought a moment that matched. A lip touchup station took center stage where fruit-kissed flavors and shades were on full display. A setup with makeup chairs and head-to-toe light-up mirrors let guests take the newest lip wear for a spin and share new looks in real time.

There was so much to choose from: Outlast Lipstains in vivid nudes, berries and corals, plus Clean Fresh Squishy lip glazes in sheer, dessert-inspired hues like Raspberry Twist, Cotton Candy Grape and Peach Gummies. The latter offered a serious punch of hydration that was essential in the Miami heat. For a different type of hydration, guests kept popping by the bar to sip on signature spicy margaritas from Tequila Centinela.

And with rising temps, so too, was the nail game. Sally Hansen offered high-shine nail art on site inspired by juicy oranges, kiwis, and strawberries, courtesy of its new Smoothies collection — with polish samples to take home, naturally. The nail brand also paired up with Rellery to host a permanent charm bracelet station where guests could choose their favorite tropical fruit charms as a perfect pair to their nail art.

Before the night wrapped, attendees got their pics snapped Nautica For Her photo booth before walking away with their own photo strip mementos, and a gift full-size fragrances as sweet, lasting reminders of a night nothing short of paradise.
