As a teenager, my favorite Christmas gift every year was a NYLON subscription from my grandmother. Every month when it arrived, I would spend hours poring over the issue, fascinated by the parties, the music, and the clothes that all felt a million miles away from my childhood bedroom in Connecticut. Fast-forward to 2024, and you’ll see that NYLON has come a long way, though I’m still as obsessed as ever with what we do.
You’re probably used to discovering us online these days, but now we are bringing the bacchanalia directly to you: From Art Basel Miami Beach to New York Fashion Week and, of course, Coachella, did you know NYLON is throwing some of the best parties in town? (And I have been to a lot of them since leaving that Connecticut bedroom.) I like to think of this 25th anniversary issue, our triumphant return to print, as our most exciting party yet — and everyone is on the list. So come on in and enjoy the scene.
