Jillian Giandurco is an Editorial Associate and Staff Writer for NYLON. Previously, she was an Editorial Associate and Staff Writer at Bustle, where she wrote about all things celebrity style, astrology, and more.
Jillian graduated from Emerson College in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts Production and a concentration in Writing for Film and Television. Some of her favorite topics to cover include celebrity style, cheeky astrology superlatives (she’s a Cancer, BTW), and the most WTF-worthy trends taking over your FYP.
Her BDG journey began in October 2021 when she joined the team as a Trending News and Experiences writer for Elite Daily, covering everything from Starbucks drink reviews to the latest iPhone release. Prior to that, she worked in Scripted Development at Refinery29, as a social media manager, and as an SEO blog writer.
In 2020, Jillian founded The Loftstyle, a Substack newsletter dedicated to pop culture, music, personal essays, and more. When she’s not writing, she’s probably either listening to or talking about Michelle Branch. She’s also teaching herself to knit, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.
