Bella Hadid Continues Her 2026 Campaign Streak With Alo
It’s her cheekiest one yet.
The dog days of summer mean muting your friends (with all the love in our hearts) whose European vacations can’t seem to come to an end and, for haters of humidity, turning an eye towards what will fill our fall wardrobes. There are a bevy of collections and collaborations that launched this week to fulfill either your late-summer desires or prepare you for a blustery fall. Some of our favorite ladies — Bella, Devon, Monica, and Zara to be specific — have some ideas about what dressing right now should look like. Scroll ahead and pick your August fighter.
Blonde Bella Is An Alo Buff Babe
Hadid’s reentry to the fashion world in 2026 has been mostly about Los Angeles. She posed as Revolve Los Angeles’ first campaign star, and now she is the newest face of Alo. The city she grew up in served as a backdrop for the Pre-Fall styles like a sleek white bra paired with hip-cutout leggings, micro sweatshorts, and a roomy bomber for those first chilly fall mornings. Shop her campaign looks here (piercing blue eyes and toned behind not included).
Devon & Frankie Hit The Beach
Devon Lee Carlson, the recently engaged girl behind our favorite phone cases (and one of our favorite NYLON covers), is bringing her signature whimsy and love for vintage to a Frankies Bikinis collection fittingly called “Sunshine Girls.” Expect low-rise jeans, ‘50s-inspired mini slip dresses, signature swim in a range of patterns, loose cotton blouses, and terry sweatsuits that, all in all, define the modern Cali-girl wardrobe. Shop the collection here.
Some End-Of-Summer Outfit Ideas Courtesy Of Monica Barbaro
After filming her adorable romcom One Night Only in New York, Barbaro is back in the city to promote the film before its cinematic release on Aug. 7. She’s been beating the humidity in minidresses from one of our favorites, George Trochopoulos, plus microshorts from Adam Lippes and our personal pick, the blue gingham Sandy Liang set. The through-line in her looks is ease, to not only make multiple outfit changes in a day a breeze but to get through Soho without breaking a sweat.
H&M Adds Wardrobe.NYC To Their Collaboration Roster
The list of brands that have lent their signature design style to H&M grows by leaps and bounds each year, and the latest to join the ranks is Wardrobe.NYC, the streamlined luxury basics label that counts Hailey Bieber as a collaborator. Its workwear leanings translate well to a collection primed to take over your fall wardrobe, including roomy coats, sharp denim jackets, perfect T-shirts, and a particularly fabulous pair of patent heeled boots that are just the right side of weird. Shop the entire collection here.
Nii Hai & Main Rose Just Made Your New Favorite Bikini Tops
Patron saint of summer Zara Larsson launched Main Rose to make everybody (and every body) feel great in their intimates, and she recently expanded her purview with the help of Instagram-brand favorite Nii Hai to include bikinis. The patterned, sequined, and maximalist swimsuits are sold individually, encouraging you to mix, match, and pattern clash. Shop the collection here.
John Galliano Will Be The Met’s Spring 2027 Exhibition Subject
The incredibly influential, controversial, and mercurial designer is the third living designer to receive an entire exhibit dedicated to their work (the first two were Yves Saint Laurent and Rei Kawakubo). “John Galliano: Horizons” will cover his work from his thesis collection in the ‘80s through his work at Givenchy, Dior, Maison Margiela, and his own label. The Met’s press release also promises the exhibit will directly grapple with his antisemitic 2011 outburst, which saw him lose his job at Dior and fall from fashion’s graces. Like him or not, there’s no denying how he’s shaped global fashion as we know it, so gird your loins and expect to see a Zara design of his or two on the museum’s stairs next May.
V. Chapman Injects Romance Into Your Fall Wardrobe
V. Chapman is the Los Angeles label committed to embracing a girly romanticism while still feeling mature, and for its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, founder Victoria Salisbury enlisted designer Kristopher Brock (formerly of Brock Collection) to bring his modern take on dresses and occasionwear. The result is clothes that feel special yet aren’t so delicate that you won’t take them out for a spin weekly: The skirts, minidresses, and the frilly cropped cardigan are easy to pair together or style out with something more casual already in your wardrobe. Shop the collection here.
Converse Welcomes Karina To The Family
Karina of aespa makes a great brand ambassador, with both legions of fans watching her every move and the chameleonic ability to be the most stylish girl in the room, whether in couture or a T-shirt and jeans. Converse tapped her to show off two of the latest iterations on their classics — the Chuck 70 X and the Run Star Crush — and we can’t wait to see how she pulls off the signature hi-tops on stage.
Maren Morris Goes To The Gas Station With Sam’s Club
If you’re looking to embrace your inner cowgirl for late summer and fall, look no further. Morris worked closely with her stylist Dani Michelle to make a collection for Sam’s Club’s Edited platform that covers a wide range of silhouettes — a faux-fur coat, jeans, belts, T-shirts, and lots more — that deliver on style without costing an arm and leg. The entire collection is online (and all under $40) here and in select Sam’s Club locations on Sep. 7.
