Michael Kors Shuts Down P.J. Clarke’s & More NYFW FW26 Party Photos
Martinis, burgers, and red lips, on repeat.
They say it’s always fashion week somehwere — just check any of our other party roundups for confirmation — but this time, it’s no joke. New York Fashion Week’s February edition is here, and although the winter season is always a bit sleepier in the party department (who wants to schlep through snow for five nights in a row?), some of our favorite labels and girls are keeping the energy up, despite the temperature drop. We won’t be directly contributing to the madness this season (we’ve decamped to Aspen for the weekend), but we have tickets to the best soirées, dinners, and afterparties of the week. Check back to see who threw what party where — and who was best-dressed at each event.
Manolo Blahnik Sets Fashion Week In Motion
Alioune Badara Fall linked up with the infamous shoemaker to kick off the week in the EDITION’s Clocktower, and the guests poured in to the wood-paneled room for strong cocktails, candlelit conversations, and yes, excellent shoes.
Models.com Turns 25
The go-to destination for everything you’ve ever wanted to know about the modeling industry is celebrating its 25th year with a little help from the girls and guys who made them famous — that is, of course, the industry’s top models. Alton Mason, Paloma Elsesser, Awar Odhiang, and pretty much every major model in New York right now turned up for the sushi dinner.
Danielle Frankel Does Birkenstocks Her Way
The fashion industry’s go-to bridal designer is bringing her soft, romantic energy to a line of Birkenstock sandals and clogs. She celebrated with an intimate dinner at The Eighty Six — the hottest ticket in town right now, food-wise — where clients and friends of the brand like AnnaSophia Robb got a first look at the crystal-covered slides.
YSL Beauty Goes All Night
The YSL Beauty party during New York Fashion Week has become a bright spot — or an all-black spot, if the attendees’ dresses has anything to do with it. Our fave girls poured into the Soho space for a “24/7 LOVE” party honoring the bodegas of New York, but with a high-fashion twist.
BIFC Gets Their Laughs In Before NYFW
The Black in Fashion Council was founded in 2020 to advance the position of Black people in the fashion industry across design, media, PR, beauty — you name it, they’ve touched it. Their reach has made their kickoff dinner at fashion week a can’t-miss event. With the help of Raf’s and Sephora, they had the most fun one can have on a Monday night while still waking up for shows and appointments on Tuesday.
J.Crew Rolls Out Their New Rollnecks
Everyone’s favorite preppy mainstay is pushing their Rollneck sweater this year (it’s worked on me!) and their latest slew of collaborations prove their finger is ever on the pulse. Creative director Olympia Gayot invited five of New York’s finest fashion brands — Tanner Fletcher, Collina Strada, Buci, Patrick Taylor, and Eckhaus Latta — to reimagine the schlubby (complimentary) knit as their own. They toasted in an art gallery, where the reimagined rollnecks were on full display, with a visual (and actual) buffet, plus lots of sweater-clad friends of the brand.
All Aboard The A.L.C. Train
A.L.C. is dressing the woman on the go, so what better place to bring their favorite stylish set than Grand Central? They shut down the subterranean Oyster Bar for martini towers and a twirl around the room in the brand’s Icons collection, which yes, won’t take hours to slip into before you miss your Metro North train.
Julia Hobbs & Jennifer Behr Shine On
Our favorite accessory drop of 2026 so far got its time in the sun (or, more fittingly, under the moon) as editors, friends of Hobbs’, and It girls of the downtown scene piled into Climax Books on East 4th Street to try on the trio of tiaras Hobbs cooked up in collaboration with Jennifer Behr.
Hervé Léger Turns The Clock Back For Their 40th
If you close your eyes and believe hard enough, it could’ve been 2007 in Jean’s... The brand behind everyone’s go-to clubbing dress in the late aughts is turning 40 this year, and they spared no expense in getting their favorite girls into the infamously tight dresses for a night of dancing and drinks that makes us miss the good ol’ pre-social-media club days.
Dodiee Wins Most Unconventional (And Most Fun) Presentation
For Dodiee’s fall/Winter 2026 collection, designer Elisa Dahan wanted to pay homage to the ‘70s, which directly inspires her fringed knits and sensuous ready-to-wear. What better way to do it than pack The Box with well-dressed celebrities and give them a show that felt like Crazy Horse meets the Lower East Side?
Mikimoto Shines On Broadway
The jewelry label behind the most coveted pearls in fashion launched their latest expression of high jewelry, Les Pétales and The Bows, with the help of pearl-dripping stars like Uma Thurman and Paloma Elsesser. If we had zero budget or bills, we’d happily take Thurman’s fringed pendant.
Polomi Does Dinatoîre At Home
Polomi’s subtle (not quiet) luxury handbags found their best home on the shoulders and elbows of the downtown set, who all joined tastemaker Gabriella Khalil at her apartment for light bites and a bit of schmoozing and gossip. Sarah Harris and founder Polomi Chande all provided excellent styling tips for the discreet bags.
Next Stop, Louis Vuitton Express
The place to be on Thursday evening was Obvio, where Louis Vuitton hosted a lowkey-but-very-highkey cocktail in honor of their latest bag, The Express. Tastemakers and city girls alike all showed off the rectangular, monogram-strap handbag while also decidedly setting the leather-jacket agenda for the week.
Happy 45th, Mr. Kors!
Michael Kors’ brand is 45 years old this year, and his “New York Chic” collection shown at the Metropolitan Opera House was outdone in its New York-ness only by the afterparty, which was a stone’s throw away at the infamous burger haunt, P.J. Clarke’s. Alex Consani, Rachel Zegler, and Leslie Bibb all imbibed in a classic ‘tini or two to toast to the legendary designer.
MYTH & Miguel Adrover Premiere The Designer Is Dead
Haley Wollens’ new magazine, MYTH, hosted a screening for the ever-provocative Gonzalo Hergueta’s new film, The Designer is Dead, which features the equally polarizing Miguel Adrover. Chloë Sevigny, Hari Nef, and Paloma Elsesser all joined Wollens and Adrover at Angelika East for a screening of the film and an equally enchanting afterparty.
Gold House & Hennessy Ring Lunar New Year In Early
Chinese Tuxedo turned into a mini Heated Rivalry reunion on a chilly Thursday night, thanks in part to Hudson Williams and Daniela Ksenia Kharlamova popping into the Gold House Lunar New Year party. Williams played cohost with Herin Ya, and they welcomed friends like Lola Tung and Bowen Yang into the swanky two-story clubstaurant for endless shots of Hennessy and drunken mahjong games.
Susan Alexandra Turns Up In The Upper East Side
The corner of 82nd and Madison is not particularly loud, but on the night of Susan Alexandra’s store opening, the intersection got a dose of life (and beads). Her small boutique was packed to the gills with fans of the brand, and luckily, they took over Nectar Cafe next door to serve french fries Pocky, and beers to guests. It’s the only fashion week party I’ve been to with custom ketchup labels and a never-ending supply of milkshakes.
Spotify & LoveShackFancy Do Galentine’s Day
Doubles Club turned into a singalong and pink convention on the day of LoveShackFancy and Spotify’s lunch, where friends of the brand and the streaming service piled into the swanky dinner club for a festive girl-loving meal. They were also treated to a surprise performance from the cutest Joshua Bassett.
Poshmark Curates The Best Shopping Party At NYFW
Poshmark’s CRO Elizabeth von der Goltz enlisted a stylish group of gals and guys to curate their own racks for Styled by Poshmark, a live shopping experience full of covetable, on-trend secondhand pieces courtesy of the app. It was a fun-loving affair that shows the website has all the goodies any vintage shopper could want or need in 2026.
